Working in the expanded field of contemporary print, exploring themes of dissonance and complexity

I work in the expanded field of contemporary printmaking, creating prints and installations through a combination of traditional and modern print processes, from linocut and collograph to laser cutting and Risograph. My work explores the dissonance and complexity of modern life.  I use the concepts and natural language of print to conjure internal worlds, pursue sensations and interrogate emotions and predicaments.  To do as Louise Bourgeois suggests and “physicalise the problem.” Visualising our fragility and creating works which offer space for challenge and reflection. Public participation and engagement are also central to my creative practice.
